Pawhuska Public Schools announces the 2014 Basketball Homecoming Royalty.

Haley Malaske, daughter of C.J. and Michelle Malaske, was crowned the 2014 Basketball Homecoming Queen. She has participated in basketball and softball for four years each and has been a cheerleader for two years. She has also served as a Student Council member and has been in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Other activities include serving as the Baseball Manager for three years. Malaske’s awards include being in the National Honor Society, Softball All-Conference 1st base 2011, Softball All-Conference Utility Player 2012, Softball All-Conference 2nd base 2013 and the Softball All-Region Team.

Senior attendant Alexis Martin is the daughter of Walker Martin and Brandi Evans. She has played softball for four years and served as the Boy’s Basketball Manager.

Junior attendant Andie Sweeden, daughter of Joe and Sheila Sweeden, played basketball, track and soccer. She has also participated in Key Club and Mu Alpha-Theta. She is listed on the “A” Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Sophomore attendant Genie Herren, daughter of the late Dee Dee Herren and Chet and Sylvia Herren played basketball, track and soccer. She has served as the Student Council treasurer and Key Club secretary. Herren is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, as well as a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She participated in the student ambassador program, and served as the sophomore class vice president. Her awards include being listed in the “A” Honor Roll and being a member of the National Honor Society.

Freshman attendant Sydney Sellers is the daughter of Justin and Angie Sellers. Her activities include softball, basketball, and Baseball Manager. She is listed on the “A” and “B” Honor Roll.

Crowning captain is Tyler Culver, son of Gary and Jodi Culver. An Honor Student, Culver’s activities include basketball and baseball.

Queen escort Daniel Bogney lists basketball as an activity.

Senior escort Mason Moody, son of Becky Moody, participated in basketball and track.

Junior escort Trent Barnett, son of Ernie and Cheryl Barnett, plays basketball and is a member of the FFA.

Sophomore escort Tucker Helmer, son of Mark and Cindy Helmer, plays basketball and golf and is a member of the Key Club.

Freshman escort Colton Hindman is the son of Chere and Casey Hindman. He plays basketball, football and baseball.

Flower girl Sidney BigEagle is the daughter of Troy and Stacy BigEagle.

Crown bearer Cade Chronister is the son of Scott and Olivia Chronister.
