Pawhuska’s Hayden Javellas played a major role for the Huskies in last week’s 19-16 district triumph at Commerce. The senior wide receiver-cornerback returned a kickoff for a 90-yard touchdown, caught a 37-yard TD pass and made more than a dozen tackles, including a few that probably prevented scores by the Tigers. And, that wasn’t all he did. PHS head coach Bob Craig called the victory “a tremendous team effort that everyone can be proud of.” On Friday, the Huskies are to play another District 2A-8 opponent, the Oklahoma Union Cougars.
