Letter to the Editor

We of the Ministerial Alliance would like to thank the community for their support of all of our functions especially, for Sunday evening July 28 when we held our Singspiration at the Presbyterian Disciples Church. There was a great turnout and the financial support will be a much needed lifeline for those in need in our community.

Thanks to all who made this event possible: those who sang, and those who brought refreshments, and to those who came and enjoyed both, all of the pastors who promoted this event to their congregations and to the Presbyterian Disciples Church who hosted this event. Each deserve our thanks for helping to make this event a success.

The Alliance holds four fundraisers throughout the year as opportunities for you to reach out to those in need.

Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35

John the apostle said, “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” 1 John 3:17

The community of Pawhuska has once again demonstrated that this is a community where the love of God dwells. To the “Church of Pawhuska” may I, on behalf of the ministers of our community, say thank you to each one that contributes to making Pawhuska a better place to live.

Rev. Jim Shrum

President, Pawhuska Ministerial Alliance
