Walter Lee (Butch) Hada, 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at his home near Pawhuska, Okla.
He was born in Alva, Okla. on Feb 28, 1942, the son of Walter Lee Hada, Sr. and Arthur and Betty Sharp. They preceded him in death.
He graduated Pawhuska High School in 1960 & he joined the Navy. He married his sweetheart Frances “Pat” Friend, July 1, 1965. They had two sons, William Arthur Hada and Jeffrey Lee Hada. After 22 years in the Navy he retired M.M.M.C. He spent 19 years with Arkansas Power and Light or “Entergy.” He retired finally on their Friend Hereford Ranch.
He enjoyed family, friends, hunting and fishing and watching Denver Bronco football.
He is survived by his wife Pat; two sons, William and his wife Lori of Jay, Okla., and Jeffrey and his wife Lori of Clarkston, Wash.; his brothers Johnny Sharp of Cedarcrest, N.M. and Tommy Sharp of CO; sisters Ruthie Thilges of Aurora, Colo. and Linda Springstead of Morrison, Colo.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Hada were held Monday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Birge officiating. Cremation arrangements and services were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Military Honors were presented at the funeral home by members of the U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Team.
