Carl Chandler Bake

Carl Chandler Baker, 81, died March 30, 2013 in Oklahoma City.

He was born December 9, 1931 in Cushing, Okla. to Chandler C. and Erma C. (Kearns) Baker. He graduated from Cushing High School and received his BA in Zoology from Oklahoma State University.

A pilot for 58 years, he was also a biologist for the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Department for 13 years, an auto body business owner for 16 years, and a security officer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maudie Jane Baker; daughter, Carla S. Baker; son, Chandler C. Baker; three grandchildren, Daisy Baker, Chandler Baker and Christina Crownover; and three great-grandchildren, Christian, Cameron and Lilly.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 6 at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, Okla. with interment in Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing, Okla.
