THANK YOU!

Gibby and Maggie Gibson and grandson Dwayne Pappan, whose home burned a few months ago, would like to thank all the wonderful, generous people who have helped them in so many ways. Thanks especially to the ones who were involved in the Poker Run.

They are gradually rebuilding and replacing items that can be replaced. They are gradually getting over losing the things they cannot replace.

They have received so many generous donations from so many people all over the area and say that words alone cannot express their gratitude for everyone’s help. Again, they say thank you and God Bless everyone for their help!

WYNONA SCHOOL NEWS

Wynona Schools start August 12th at 8:30. School supply lists are available at the school’s Administration Office, Town Hall or the Store.

Wynona Police Officers Lance Ryerson and John W Ferguson would like to remind drivers that the speed limit through the school zone is 25 mph.

The school crossing guard will be at the crossing on Highway 99 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Let’s make this a safe, happy school year for our Wynona students!

VETERAN REPRESENTATIVE AT WYNONA TOWN HALL

Just a reminder that Lee Webb is still coming to the Town Hall on Fridays from 11:30 until 12:30 to help veterans with their benefits. This is a great opportunity for veterans and should be utilized by all who are qualified.

Veterans are reminded that they can use their tax exempt card from the state to exempt taxes on their phone bills. Just contact your telephone provider for more details.
