Job training program TCTC Applied Welding Technology Instructor Scott Sutherland is overseeing one of the students enrolled in the Osage Nation’s job training program currently underway at Pawhuska’s Business Development Center.

The Pawhuska Business Development Center hosted a two-day Pipeline Orientation May 30-31.

Representatives from the Osage Nation, Tri County Technology Center and The Strategy Center discussed opportunities the Enbridge Pipeline project is bringing to Osage County. The panel included Osage Nation Human Resources Director Delary Walters, Osage Nation Cultural Director Vann Bighorse, Consultant Rod Hartness, Osage Nation Compensation Analyst Jana Scimeca, Pipeline Steward Roger Wheeler, Osage Nation Director of Department of Education Ida Doyle, Applied Welding Technology Instructor Scott Sutherland, TCTC Director of Business Development Tonya Foreman, and Strategy Center Director of Business Development Tara Gotwalt.
