The Osage County Treasurer’s Office staff will be gone for Annual Training April 9-11.

‘Week of the Young Child’ set for April 17
The public is invited to join for a day of PLAY. from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 17 at the Pawhuska Fairgrounds.
Check-in opens at 8:30 a.m.. Featuring “Buddy Big Mountain” world famous puppeteer. There will be arts and crafts, games, inflatables, petting zoo, exhibits and so much more.

Boy Scouts host Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
Boy Scout Troop 33 will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 19 at the Elks Lodge. Cost is $7.
Proceeds go towards the summer camp fees for the youth.

Free Dump Day
April 20 is the date for the Free Dump Day, sponsored by Osage County Commissioners and City of Pawhuska. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Available locations for dropping off items includes:
• Pawhuska — District No. 1 Shop 8th and Pecan
• Shidler — west of the city on Highway 11
• Barnsdall — 516 S. 5th St.
• Skiatook — 2850 W. 133rd Street North
• Hominy — 604 Cotton Gin
Accepted items include: passenger tires without the rims (no tire dealers), appliances, furniture, mattresses, box springs, wood, brush.
What will not be accepted: household trash, household hazardous waste items, commercial or contractor’s trash, paint, or other chemicals.
