WYNONA FIREWORKS FUN FOR ALL

Each year, there is a group of Wynonans that go together and buy up a lot of awesome fireworks.

This is a great treat for the Wynona residents.

The fireworks display is as big and nice as any of the shows around and everyone appreciates the effort that this group of special people goes to each year for the people.

Thanks again to all responsible for the great fireworks display. It was much appreciated.

POKER RUN ‘OUT OF THE ASHES’

Wynonans Gibby and Maggie Gibson and their grandson, Dewayne Pappan, had their home catch fire a couple of months ago.

A group of people, led by Christy Totten and Terry Hollowell, decided to get together and see what they could do to help out.

They decided on a Poker Run and auction.

The run was held on June 29th with 58 vehicles involved.

Following the poker run, the group gathered at the Office in Wynona for hamburgers and an auction.

Everyone agreed that it was a successful event with more than $5,000 raised for the family, who plan to rebuild in the same place.

The Gibsons and Dewayne would like to thank everyone for their generous donations and all the help.
