Stars of Freedom Fest, Little Mr. and Miss Freedom Fest contests announced

Is your child an aspiring singer or a total cutie who deserves a crown? Enter them into either the Stars of Freedom Fest Vocal Talent Contest or the Little Mr. and Miss Freedom Fest competition. Both will be held during Freedom Fest.

The Bartlesville Freedom Fest will be held from 6-9:45 p.m. on July 4 in downtown Bartlesville on Second Street between Keeler and Dewey Avenues. Freedom Fest is a family-friendly festival featuring live entertainment, carnival games, food and drink vendors and fireworks. A children’s parade and a patriotic tribute are also prime attractions. The fireworks will begin at 9:45 p.m.

The Stars of Freedom Fest Vocal Talent Contest is back by popular demand and seeking local stars who will shine brightly on our stage. Register online at BartlesvilleFreedomFest.org during May 1- 30. Online voting will be available June 1-15. Three finalists in each category, chosen by online popular vote, will compete at Freedom Fest on the Everett Music Studio Family Stage for nine large prizes.

Public voting will be held during the month of June. Collection jars will be placed at selected downtown Bartlesville businesses. Entrants will receive one vote tally for every penny collected in their jar. The prize package worth over $100 each will be awarded to one Little Mr. and one Little Miss. Must be present at Freedom Fest to be crowned. The coronation will be held at 6:30 p.m. on July 4 at Freedom Fest.
