Following the success of the Library’s Labor Day Book Giveaway, the Pawhuska Public Library will sponsor its first Children’s Christmas Book Giveaway beginning tomorrow and continuing through Saturday, Dec. 12-14.
“We have a nice selection available for both younger readers and upper elementary students. Books make great Christmas gifts,” said Assistant Librarian Yvonne Rose. “Parents and guardians are welcome to choose a free book and make reading a part of their family’s Christmas season.”
Parents and guardians are also invited to apply for a free library card for children and youth under eighteen. The process only takes a few minutes. Documents needed are an adult’s driver’s license, and a proof of residence. Proof of residence may be mail, a check, or receipt.
The library is located at 1801 Lynn Avenue in Pawhuska.
