For the 10th consecutive year, Pawhuska children in pre-Kindergarten through the 12th grades have benefited from free school supplies.

Spearheaded by the Pawhuska First United Methodist Church, the program’s success is attributed to the support, cooperative spirit and generous donations of area churches, civic groups, banks, businesses and individuals.

Co-Chair Sherry Williams said, “We gave around 398 individual packets of school supplies. We also had a great assortment of children’s books. An added bonus this year was a selection of gently-worn school clothes and rain boots.”
