Celebrated TV handfisherman Marion Kincaid provided Pawhuskans with an impromptu fish fry last week during a visit at the Drummond Building. Kincaid, who also is known as the “Catfish King,” unloads one of his recent catches in between cooking sessions. According to one local observer: “Not only does this guy catch the biggest fish, but he can cook them up better than anyone, too.” Grand opening of the Drummond Building’s renovated office area is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday. The ongoing restoration project has become one of the downtown’s primary tourist attractions, according to Pawhuska Chamber of Commerce Director Michael McCartney.
