The Pawhuska ESA Chapter will host a dinner and style show on Monday, April 7 at the Methodist Family Life Center (621 Leahy). The event will kick off at 6 p.m. and will feature fashions from two Pawhuska businesses as well as Barnsdall and Ponca City.
Clothing for the entire family will be showcased with something for everyone. Contributing businesses include Osage Outfitters and Lowry’s from Pawhuska, The Funky Pearl Boutique from Barnsdall, and The Bag Lady from Ponca City.
ESA (Alpha Zeta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha) is a philanthropic organization. The Pawhuska chapter has been serving the community for over four decades. Monies raised from this event will used for their numerous ongoing service projects.
“Our Chapter is probably best known for lining the streets of downtown Pawhuska with dozens of U.S. Flags,” said ESA spokesperson Janette Murray. “We put flags out twelve times or more a year. ESA flags recognize Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Veterans Day, in observance of the infamous September 11th terrorist attack, on April 19th to honor victims of the Oklahoma City bombing, and to welcome Pawhuska visitors during the annual Roundup Club’s Cavalcade.
“In addition, ESA sponsors several PHS scholarships, the Back Pack Program, Hearts and Hands, Ministerial Alliance, Help Works, Christ Cupboard, Youth Services, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Special Olympics, American Red Cross, to name a few.”
Advance tickets are $8 and available from any ESA member. Tickets at the door will be $10. For more information, contact Janette Murray at 918-287-2417 or Debbie Reed at 918-287-3507.
