Just a reminder that the Fred Drummond Home has a Facebook page and future events and exhibits are announced there. Go to “Friends of The Fred Drummond Home of The Oklahoma Historical Society.”

The Drummond Home will hold a Downtown Abbey themed style show at 2 p.m. Aug. 16 at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 204 North Price Street in Hominy.

Martha Ray and her models from Pawnee will be present to show styles from the early 1900s to the late 1920s.

The Drummond Home is taking reservations for 50 guests until the end of July. Tickets sell for $10 each and can be purchased at the Drummond Home or by mail: 305 North Price, Hominy, OK 74035. Ticket reservations will ensure a place for the style show, door prizes and some great food.

For more information, call 918-885-2374.

Proceeds will benefit Fred Drummond Home.

Special thanks go to Mika Fields of Hominy for all her hard work to help prepare for this event. Next week will be Fields’ last week as her JOM job is over for the summer. Organizers of the Drummond Home say Fields has done a great job.
