The Drummond Home Friend’s group met on the night of Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. Guest speakers Shelly Crynes and Larry O’Dell from Oklahoma City were present to talk to the group about Planned giving and how this would benefit the site.

It was a great meeting. Members attending were: Dolores & Cecil Drummond from Tulsa, Valerie Duncan from Guthrie Territorial Museum, Lacey Mahan, Jimmie Ratliff, and Linda Cross all of Hominy, and Site Manager, Beverly Whitcomb. After the meeting, the group was able to tour the home and enjoy refreshments!

Next meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 beginning at 7 p.m. Will post reminders when it gets closer to time.

A reminder that the Drummond Home Christmas event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8, between the hours of 2 - 4 p.m. Activities will be the Parade of Historic Santa clauses, Finegan’s Awake, Open House tour of the home and refreshments afterwards! We look forward to seeing everyone that day!

We are located at 305 North Price, Hominy, Oklahoma, 74035. Our hours of operation are Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with tours being given between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 4 p.m. For more information, please call 918-885-2374. Parents, your children 12 years and under need an adult to accompany them for tours.
