Cow Thieves & Outlaws Reunion date set

The “best party in the State of Oklahoma,” Cow Thieves & Outlaws Reunion, returns Oct. 5 to the grounds of Clyde Lake at Woolaroc.

A party which was started by “Uncle Frank” Phillips in 1926 is the annual fundraiser for Phillips’ 3,700 acre ranch, wildlife preserve and museum near Bartlesville, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Last year, the party at Clyde Lake attracted more than 900 guests who enjoyed gourmet western fare, live music, dancing and visiting with friends around bon fires that warded off the cool October weather.

The 2013 event will kick off with a private Sponsor’s Party in the Lodge at 5 p.m. and the main event at Clyde Lake will be from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Recording country music artist Jerrod Medulla will provide dancing music after dinner accompanied by The Park Family Bluegrass Band and the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Barbershop Quartet.

Gourmet southwest dinner cuisine will be provided this year by three vendors: Pawhuska IGA, Two Sisters Pub & Grill and Sterling’s Grille.

Tickets to the main event are $75 per person. Reserved tables and sponsorships are available. For more call Woolaroc at 918-336-0307, ext. 11.
